Trip to Lisbon - Portugal

April 2nd, 21:25 - Bucharest, Romania
Destination : Lisbon, Portugal

This year we've decided to spent the Easter Holiday in Lisbon.
It was a great decision. Why?...wait & see! :D

The flight was a long one, around 4 hours. At least was a direct flight.
The hotel chosen was Amazonia.
This hotel offers a comfortable and cozy accommodation for guests visiting the charming and historical city of Lisbon in business or leisure.
Nice accommodation conditions and a fair price!

1st Day
We went to the Tourist info point.
Waking around, it was impossible not to stop and take some pictures.
I must admit that Lisbon is on the top 3 cities where I would prefer living.

Now, back to the business.
Being interested in visiting a lot of museums, castles & historical sites, we have "invested" 33.50 Eur (each person) in a Lisboa Card.
Below you can find all the benefits using such a card.

First stop was at Jeronimos Monastery.

The Jeronimos Monastery is the most impressive symbol of Portugal's power and wealth during the "Age of Discovery". King Manuel I built it in 1502 on the site of a hermitage founded by Prince Henry the Navigator, where Vasco da Gama and his crew spent their last night in Portugal in prayer before leaving for India.

Next on our agenda, was the Monument of Discoveries ...
...and Belem Tour.
