Destination: Budapest, Hungary
For this trip we decided to travel by car.
That's why we had to make some stops during the journey.
First stop was Sibiu, really wonderfull city.
You can imagine that we had also some "unexpected" stops ...
First night we slept on a pension house in Arad.
Next day, early in the morning, we drive to Budapest.
The GPS took us to the Citadella Hotel, near the Citadel fortress.
The unique natural and architectural features of the Citadel, towering above the city, make it the ideal venue for the "Budapest Eye" lookout tower.
Inside the Citadel, you can tour the remains of a German bunker below ground that housed the German air command during WWII, complete with wax figures and a WWII battle film.
For a great sightseeing of the city, I kindly recommend a bus tour.
